When we spoke with John Barone, their Warranty manager, and asked if they were going to repair our drive way to ensure it meets the required code, he laughed and told us 'no'. They are clearly not following the guidelines of the Canadian Home Builders Association, of which they claim to be a member. John was an incredible builder and does an outstanding job. They truly care and want to make sure we are satisfied with our new home. The Sales Counselor went above and beyond and kept us sane through the entire building process. Weekly reports on the status of our house kept us in the loop. From the start, Derek -the sales person- provided excellent customer service. He first listened to what we were looking for and then he provided all the available options with details on the available finished construction on hand homes and future delivery options. He always provided excellent support from the initial interest in purchasing a home in Pomona. Has provided 100% support even after the final purchase just to ensure I was another 100% satisfied home owner.
The quality of work they expect their customers to accept is crazy. My home took over a year to build and all major parts had to be re-done and didn't fall within codes. We went with the preferred lender, and I feel our loan was very competitive. Since we moved in, we found a few minor issues that I'm sure all new houses have, but these were resolved quickly without any hassle and were covered under the warranty. In terms of the neighborhood, I am loving Cane Island so far.

Our home is a total loss, which is more than 100% of what we paid. So much water is under the foundation that from March 2018 to November 2018, the entire house heaved up 1-2 inches causing rafters to split apart and the roof to start "twisting" up off the house. There are miles of trails that wind around beautiful lakes, and the view of the sky is breathtaking. From our house, it's like being at sea, with an unobstructed, panoramic view of the sky. For example, our sales consultant set the bar at a very high level from her knowledge to her professionalism from start to finish. Steer clear of this dishonest company with zero idea of customer service.
I was told that even though their sample very poorly represented the tile itself ... They were only willing to replace it at MY cost. Glad to work with Coventry, especially with Jon and Nick who took care about all ours requests, questions and kept high building standards even during materials and workers shortage.
